CD and DVD and stores it on a hard drive.
Since hard drives have speed superior to
CD-DVD Optical Drives, accessing a CD or
a DVD from the hard drive is much faster
than accessing it from CD-DVD Optical Drive.
This performance advantage becomes more
pronounced if multiple simultaneous users
are accessing the same CD or DVD. |
